Bethlehem Communities Australia (BCA) is a volunteer-led organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged communities to build a better way of life.

For more than two decades, BCA has partnered with communities in the Philippines to support housing and community development initiatives that strengthen families and protect dignity.

Through long-term partnership and the commitment of supporters in Australia, we work alongside local communities to create foundations for sustainable development.

 

Our story

Bethlehem Communities Australia has maintained an active partnership presence in Cebu since 2001, supporting housing and community initiatives that help families build safer and more stable futures.

​

Over the years, the organisation has grown through the dedication of volunteers, supporters, and community partners who share a commitment to justice, compassion, and faith in action.

Our Patron

The Patron of Bethlehem Communities Australia, Fr John Iacono, lived and served in Cebu in the Philippines, where he has worked closely with disadvantaged communities for many years.

​

His long-standing presence and leadership have been central to the development of BCA’s community partnerships.
